Birdwatchers are encouraged to enter the birds they see at Hornsby Bend into eBird.  The Cornell Lab of Ornithology created eBird in 2002 to serve as an online checklist program where observers can enter their bird sightings into a worldwide database of sightings.  There is even an eBird App for your smart phone so you can enter your checklist while at Hornsby.

To see recent (and all) sightings at Hornsby, please look at eBird data for the 2 eBird Hotspots for Hornsby Bend:

The main Hornsby Bend hotspot

Platt Lane

There is overlap between the two hotspots with different observers entering their data at one location or the other.
